US says 1 American soldier killed by roadside bomb

The U.S. military says an American soldier
has been killed and two wounded in a roadside bombing in
Baghdad, according to AP.
A U.S. statement says the attack occurred Friday night in
the Iraqi capital but no further details have been
released.
It's the first hostile fire death suffered by the U.S.
military in Iraq since two U.S. soldiers died in a bombing
Monday in the Iraqi capital.
