Acting Secretary General of GCC Standardization Organization Saud bin Rashid Al-Askar has participated in the 2nd Preparatory Meeting of the 1st Arab Forum for Consumer Protection from Commercial Fraud.
The preparatory meeting was held in Cairo and organized by the Arab League. It was attended by a number of government bodies and private sector.
During the meeting, Al-Askar presented a working paper highlighting the current situation of Arab specifications and how to develop them.
The 1st Arab Forum for Consumer Protection from Commercial Fraud will be held in Jeddah in October under the patronage of Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, the Governor of Makkah Region.
