In line with the directives of Interior Minister Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, who is also the General Supervisor of the Saudi Popular Campaign for the Relief of Lebanese People, the campaign started securing medicines and medical supplies. The medicines and medical supplies amounted to one million dollars and will be provided for the afflicted Palestinians in Nahr el-Bared and Beddawi camps. The Acting Director of the Office of the Saudi Popular Campaign for the Relief of Lebanese People has visited the headquarters of the Palestinian Embassy in Beirut to discuss ways of distributing such assistances to the afflicted people. On his part, Assistant Representative of the Executive Committee of the Palestinian Liberation Organization Dr. Kamal Naji hailed the Kingdom's assistances given to the afflicted Palestinians in Nahr el-Bared and Beddawi camps. He also thanked Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz on this noble gesture. Dr. Kamal Naji expressed thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, commending the positions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud towards the Palestinian people and their cause.
