The Interior Ministry says a blast
near a police station in northern Algeria has wounded 21
people.
It says six people injured were police officers.
The ministry says in a statement that the explosion
occurred Sunday morning in Tizi-Ouzou. The city is located
about 100 kilometers (62 miles) east of the capital,
Algiers, according to a report of the Associated Press.
