Emirates Airlines is set to take delivery of the first of 58 Airbus A-380 super jumbo planes it has ordered, and the European airplane builder is celebrating the occasion with a ceremony, the Associated Press reported. Dubai-based Emirates was mum about the interior features of its new plane but was expected to reveal details at the handover ceremony later Monday in northern Germany. The airline has said its A-380 gives travelers an «unrivaled» experience. Airbus, the aircraft division of European Aeronautic Defense and Space Company NV., said it has 202 orders for the passenger version of the aircraft so far. The next biggest orders are coming from Australia's Qantas Airways with 20, Singapore Airlines with 19, and German airline Lufthansa with 15 A-380s. Singapore Airlines took delivery of the first of the double-decker A-380 planes late last year. In a typical three-class configuration, the aircraft can seat about 525 people.
