Lebanon's Hezbollah handed over two black coffins Wednesday said to contain the bodies of two Israeli soldiers and Israel prepared to set free one of Hezbollah members in a dramatic prisoner swap. The bodies of the two Israeli soldiers were those of Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev. The swap _ mediated by a U.N.-appointed German official who shuttled between the sides for 18 months, according to reports of Foreign news agencies. Once the Israelis' bodies are positively identified, Israel will turn over Samir Kantar and four other Lebanese prisoners to Hezbollah. Lebanon's Al-Manar TV quoted senior Hezbollah official Wafik Safa at the border as saying the bodies of the two Israelis were in a «mutilated» shape from injuries they suffered during the raid.
