The Arabic translation of the Glossary of Key Terms in 'Evaluation and Results-Based Management' was launched recently at the headquarters of the Jeddah-based Islamic Development Bank (IDB). The glossary was jointly produced by the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), the African Development Bank (AFDB) and the Development Evaluation Network of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). The launching ceremony was attended by the Coordination Group, comprising the Arab development funds and institutions, as well as the OPEC Fund and the African Development Bank. Emphasizing the importance of the Arabic translation, Dr Djelloul Al-Saci, Head of the IDB Operations Evaluations Office, stated that the Arabic glossary would make available all terms in project evaluation and management in standard format. He added that the bonds of cooperation will be consequently strengthened between the IDB and its development partners.
