British police are investigating the deaths in a house fire of two French exchange students who were stabbed in the head, neck and chest before dying in a fire in a flat in London, dpa quoted Scotland Yard as saying. The two men are believed to be in their 20s, and were reported to have been studying in the town of Clermont-Ferrand, in central France. Their bodies were found in a ground floor flat in the district of New Cross, in south London, on Sunday evening. Initial investigations into the fire had been widened into a double murder probe, Scotland Yard said. There were so far no clues as to the motive. More details are expected to be released later Thursday.
