A top official of the Tibetan government in exile in India says that two envoys of the Dalai Lama will meet Chinese officials in Beijing on Tuesday and Wednesday. The prime minister of the exile government, Samdhong Rimpoche, said Monday that «the envoys will arrive in Beijing today. This will be the continuation of the formal dialogue which started in 2002.» The last formal talks were held in July 2007, Rimpoche said. The envoys Lodi Gyari and Kelsang Gyaltsen also held informal talks with Chinese officials in May, he was quoted as saying by the Associated Press.
