The Minister of Health Dr. Hamad bin Abdullah Al-Manie, today revealed that the number of medical cases transferred from public hospitals to private ones in Riyadh region reached 46 in one month, out of which 30 were transferred from outside the city of Riyadh. He attributed the reasons for the measure to need for intensive care for adult patients or incubators for newly-born infants. Speaking to heads of Primary Health Care and Managers of Riyadh hospitals, the Minister said the number of medical centers will increase from 70 to 200 inside the city of Riyadh.
