Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Riyadh region, and the accompanying delegation met here today with Governor of County of Stockholm Per Unckel. At the outset of the meeting, he Governor of Stockholm welcomed Prince Salman and the accompanying delegation, wishing him a good stay in Stockholm. In turn, Prince Salman valued the warm welcome and generous hospitality of the Swedish side and praised the friendship ties between the two countries, saying that the two sides are gearing forward for strong cooperation between Stockholm and Riyadh. During the meeting, they exchanged cordial talks and reviewed topics of common interest in addition to ties of cooperation and friendship between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Sweden and the exchange of expertise and visits between the two countries senior officials. After that, Prince Salman and his accompanying delegation had a tour of some of the landmarks of the city including Nobel Museum (Alfred Nobel) who is the founder of the Nobel International Prize. Prince Salman praised the museum and its exhibits and highlighted the importance of museums in the introduction of human history and achievements of humanity. He invited the Head of the museum to visit Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Riyadh-based National Museum.
