Dr Sheikh Salih bin Humaid, the Chairman of the Shoura (Consultative) Council, will start tomorrow an official visit to Portugal. He is scheduled to meet with a number of Portuguese officials and parliamentarians. Sheikh Dr Bin Humaid ended earlier today a 3-day official visit to Iceland. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), he highlighted the positive outcome of his visit to Iceland and said it would contribute to further cementing relations between the Kingdom and Iceland. Dr Bin Humaid said the Shoura Council is keen on developing its relations with the parliaments of the fraternal and friendly countries so as to benefit from their experiences. He noted that the Shoura Council is a member of several regional and international parliamentary federations. Dr bin Humaid is accompanied by a delegation comprising Dr Ayed al-Raddadi; Dr Abdullah Al-Dosari; Dr Salih Al-Dosari, Dr Abdel-Jalil Al-Seif and a number of officials.
