Minister of Finance Dr Ibrahim Al-Assaf met here today with German Minister of Economy and Technology Michael Glos, who is participating in Jeddah Energy Meeting. They reviewed aspects of financial, economic and investment cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Germany as well as issues pertaining to the meetings of the Saudi-German joint commission due to be held in Berlin next October. He also met with the Executive Director of the World Bank and the First Deputy President of the International Monetary Fund who are also participating in Jeddah meeting. They reviewed the international economic developments and the role of the IMF and the World Bank notably in the Arab countries.
