Obama and Clinton to make first joint appearance since primary end

Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton will appear on
stage together next week for the first time since their long and
tight battle for the Democratic Party's presidential nomination came
to an end, according to DPA.
In a brief statement Friday, the Obama campaign announced the
former rivals would make a joint campaign appearance on June 27 but
gave no further details.
Clinton endorsed Obama earlier this month and promised to help
secure his victory in November's general election against presumptive
Republican nominee John McCain.
