Saudi Minister of Culture and Information Iyad Madani met here today with Azerbaijani Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfaz Garayev. In a speech, Garayev welcomed his meeting with Saudi Minister of Culture and Information and his accompanying delegation. He emphasized the importance of increasing the scope of cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Azerbaijan in varied arenas of cultural and special documentary film production. Garayev said the staging of Saudi cultural days in Azerbaijan provided an opportunity to the people of Azerbaijan to familiarize with the Saudi culture, arts, folklore and visual arts and theater, stressing the importance of strengthening and consolidating the common concepts and cultural traditions between the two Muslim countries. --MORE
