Bulgaria's Transport Ministry says a jetliner of the Russian company Transaero has skidded off a runway while taking off from the Black Sea city of Burgas. It says none of the 207 passengers and crew were injured. Ministry spokesman Yassen Zarev says the Boeing 737-200's braking system failed and the plane skidded several meters (yards) off the runway at Burgas Airport. The Associated Press quoted Zarev as saying that the plane was flying from Burgas to Moscow on Tuesday.
