Australia is planning to attend an international meeting, which is being hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for oil producing and consuming countries under the title "Jeddah Energy Meeting," scheduled for June 22 in the Saudi port city. Australian Prime Minister Kevin Ruud was quoted as re-affirming today the importance of participating in this Forum to be held in the Kingdom and in other similar forums. He said that oil prices affect economies all over the world and that the current oil crisis is the worst that we see in 30 years. The Kingdom has called for a meeting involving the main producing countries and oil-consuming countries to study the conditions of the global market.
