The foreign minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), who arrived in Baghdad in a landmark visit Thursday, said his country would name its ambassador to Iraq within days, according to dpa. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayyid al-Nahyan, whose visit is the first of its kind by a senior official from an Arab Gulf country since the 2003 US-led invasion, said a new building to house the UAE embassy would be chosen. The minister was speaking to reporters after talks with Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.
