Member of the Iraqi Council of Deputies and Head of the Higher Hajj and Umrah commission Sheikh Mohammed Taki-al-Mawla has highlighted the efforts exerted by the Saudi government to enable the pilgrims perform their rituals in comfort and ease. He noted that the expansion projects at the Holy Places stand as a witness for the great attention given by the Kingdom to the pilgrims. His remarks were made after a meeting with the chairman of the board of directors of the non-governmental establishment for guides of the pilgrims of the Arab countries Fayeq Biari. Taki-al-Mawla reiterated the importance of the awareness of the Iraqi pilgrims prior to their arrival to the Kingdom through lectures and seminars in addition to distribution of booklets and publications. On his part, Biari said he had reviewed with Taki-al-Mawla issues pertaining to the Iraqi pilgrims.
