Some three training courses on maritime safety will be held next Saturday in the coastal area of al-Saleef in Hodeidah province, according to Saba. The courses would be organized by the Yemeni Coastguard Authority in the Aden Gulf and the Red Sea with technical support from the Turkish Coastguard Command. The move comes within the Yemeni leadership interest in developing and developing the capabilities of the coastguards to protect the territorial waters as well as fighting pirates, terrorism and smuggling. The trainees will receive over two weeks intensive training on various activities related to maritime safety.
