The Joint Saudi-Yemeni Military Committee held here today a meeting under the chairmanship of General Saleh bin Ali Al-Mohayya, the Chief of Saudi General Staff; and Major General Ahmad Ali Al-Ashwal, the Chief of Yemeni General Staff. During the meeting, the Chief of Yemeni General Staff said that this meeting coincides with the 18th anniversary of Yemen's establishment. On his part, the Chief of Saudi General Staff stressed the depth of bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries. Following that, they discussed a number of issues on the agenda. The meeting was attended by a number of senior military officials. It's worth mentioning that General Saleh and the accompanying delegation arrived here earlier today. At Sana'a International Airport, he was received by Major General Ahmad Ali Al-Ashwal, the Chief of Yemeni General Staff; and a number of officials.
