Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz announces Establishment of First Bank for Poor People in West Africa

Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz, the President of Arab Gulf Programme for United Nations Development Organizations (AGFUND) announced a developmental initiative against poverty in West Africa including the establishment of a bank for the poor people in the Republic of Sierra Leone.
The announcement came during a meeting here today between Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz and an African delegation headed by Minister of Trade and Industry of Sierra Leone, Alimamy Koroma and private sector representatives from Echo Bank.
The African delegation held a number of meetings with AGFUND officials.
