SHEIK, Egypt, May 18, SPA -- The White House says U.S. President George W. Bush will return to the Mideast if he thinks it will be helpful to advance the peace process. Bush is in Egypt, wrapping up his second trip to the region this year. He is pushing against long odds to reach an Israeli-Palestinian peace agreement in the eight months before he leaves office, the Associated Press reported. National Security Adviser Stephen Hadley says Bush is open to a return trip though none is on the schedule. Hadley said, «I think the president will come back here when there is work for him to advance the process.»
