The Head of UAE Civil Aviation Department Sheikh Ahmed bin Said, who is also the Supreme President of Emirates Airline, opened at World Trade Center here today the Kingdom's Pavilion participating at the 16th Arabian Travel Market. The opening ceremony was attended by Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Secretary General of the General Authority for Tourism and Antiquities. In a statement following the opening ceremony, Prince Sultan emphasized the importance of the Kingdom's participation at this important international event for the sixth consecutive year, pointing out that the Kingdom's participation came in light of the developments witnessed recently by tourism in the Kingdom represented in the Cabinet's approval of the new law for the General Authority for Tourism and Antiquities. On his part, Sheikh Ahmed stressed the importance of the Kingdom's participation of the Kingdom in the Arabian Travel Market, expressing his thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for this participation. The Pavilion covers an area of 506 square meters and contains 24 sections for a number of partners in the private sector in various tourism activities.
