The United Nations (U.N.) assistance mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) on Tuesday strongly condemned a suicide bomb attack in the country's Nangarhar province that claimed mostly civilian lives. “We share the outrage of all Afghans at such indiscriminate targeting of innocent people, " UNAMA said. The Associated Press reported from Kabul that 15 people were killed, and at least 25 injured in the attack. UNAMA sent their condolences to the victims' families and noted, “that the circumstances of this attack illustrate the unmistakable bonds of partnership between terrorists and drug traffickers.”
