Salih Menee Al-Khulaiwi , Director General of Saudi Customs received here today Deputy Secretary General of World Customs Organization (WCO) Kunio Mikuriya, who is currently visiting the Kingdom. Highlighting his second visit to the Kingdom, Mikuriya said "We communicate with the Saudi Customs as Saudi Arabia enjoys weightage at regional and international arenas." He lauded the Kingdom and Saudi Customs in all respects, particularly in facilitating the works of Saudi Customs, where it introduced modern detection devices that facilitate cargo clearance process as well as detection methods of smuggling and provide other WCO members States with these skills. The meeting was attended by Japanese Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Shigeru Nakamura.
