Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Interior Minister, asserted that the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz for the ceremony of distributing the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques International Award for Translation is an extension of the efforts exerted by the King to support science and translation. "This patronage is an honor for the distinguished scientific work", Prince Naif said, hoping that the concerned bodies will achieve the aspirations of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. Prince Naif said that the task of conveying peoples' experience is seen as important in the contemporary world where communication among the peoples becomes cultural and social necessity. Prince Naif thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his efforts exerted to serve humanity, stressing the need to work on achieving qualitative progress in translating science and knowledge to achieve greater prosperity for the peoples, strengthen bonds of cooperation among them and face threats that seek damaging integration of countries and peoples. On the other hand, the winners of the Award thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for patronizing this award. They said that this award is a medal of honor leading them for much work in this field.
