Eritrea's President Isaias Afworki received at Conferences Palace in Riyadh today Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Foreign Minister. During the meeting, they discussed relations between the two countries, issues pertaining to the Horn of Africa, developments in Somalia and Darfur, and international and regional efforts aiming to resolve the situations in the region. On his part, the Eritrean President expressed his appreciation for the role being played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting these efforts. The meeting was attended by a number of officials.
