A delegation of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by the Ministry's Undersecretary for Islamic Affairs Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Alammar, arrived in Sanaa today to hold talks with Yemeni officials on issues of mutual concern. At the airport, the delegation was received by the Undersecrary of the Ministry of Endowments and Guidance of Yemen for Guidance Sector Sheikh Hussein Mohammed Al-Haddar and Saudi Ambassador to Yemen Ali Al-Hamdan. In an arrival statement, the leader of the delegation said the visit comes within the framework of the routine meetings between the two ministries to activate the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two sides in Riyadh last year, noting that the firm and good relations binding the two countries necessitate the unification of visions and objectives to confront extremism and violence which threaten security and stability and contradict the instructions of Islam and the principles of moderation and citizenship.
