The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stressed that victory over the scourge of terrorism can only be achieved through direct cooperation and full coordination among concerned security agencies to exchange information for early identification of terrorists, tracking them down, and preventing them from carrying out their criminal operations. In a key speech before the 3rd multilateral meeting of the foreign ministers of Iraq's neighboring countries which began in Kuwait today, Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, said the Kingdom hopes the meeting will result in mobilizing the required support to help Iraq overcome its ordeal which overshadows all the various components of brotherly Iraqi people. The minister commended the Iraqi government's serious efforts to confront the armed militias, enforce the authority of the state, and fight terrorism. The minister stated that during a recent visit to the Kingdom, the head of the Iraqi National Security Council held serious and constructive talks with Saudi concerned security authorities to develop cooperation, coordination and constant exchange of information between the two countries in the security field. --More
