The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a cable of congratulations to Silvio Berlusconi on the occasion of his election as Italy's Premier.
In his own name and on behalf of the people and government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the King wished the Premier permanent good health and happiness and the friendly people of Italy steady progress and prosperity.
The Monarch commended relations existing between the two friendly countries and their peoples, and work on their development in all fields.
