Pakistan Saturday successfully test fired its long range, nuclear capable surface-to-surface ballistic missile, "Hatf VI Shaheen II", having 2000 kilometers range, Pakistan army said. As usual, it did not disclose the location from where the missile was launched. As per the standard practice, Pakistan's neighboring countries were duly informed prior to the test-fire. President Pervez Musharraf, Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, Defense Minister Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar and senior military officials were present at launching site. They lauded the Pakistani scientists and engineers for the successful test-fire.
