Dr. Salih bin Abdullah bin Homaid, Chairman of the Shoura Council of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia who led his country's delegation to the118th General Assembly of the International Parliamentary Union, met on the fringes of the conference in Cape Town earlier today with the delegation of the Republic of Uruguay, led by the former Speaker of House of Representatives Dr. Jolio Cardoso and member of parliament Dr. Rego Kaiza. During the meeting, highlighted by the media here, they exchanged cordial talks and reviewed the relations between the Shorua Council of Saudi Arabia and the House of Representatives of Uruguay and ways to activate the friendship committees in the two chambers. On the other hand, bin Homaid led the Jumaa (Friday) public prayer at Al-Quds mosque in Cape Town. He urged Muslims to remain dedicated to Allah Almighty as controller of everything at any time, warning them against doing that only during worshipping and otherwise forgetting their God.
