The death toll from a fire at a girls' school dormitory south-west of the Ugandan capital Kampala earlier this week has risen to 20 after two more charred bodies were found, police officials said Friday, according to Deutsche Presse-Agentur dpa. Deputy police spokeswoman Judith Nabakooba also told dpa that 10 school security guards and the dormitory matron have been arrested in connection with the fire that on Monday night engulfed the Buddo Junior School about 15 kilometres south-west of Kampala. The police have suggested that the fire may have been an act of arson by an aggrieved party.
