Iranian Foreign minister arrives in Yemen

Iran's Foreign minister Manouchehr Mottaki arrived here on Thursday on an official visit to Yemen.
Mottaki will meet with Yemeni officials at the Foreign ministry to consult and exchange views over issues of mutual concern as well as discussing means of promoting bilateral cooperation ties.
Upon his arrival, Mottaki said that Yemen plays a crucial role in the region, pointing to the Yemeni initiative to reconcile Palestinians.
Mottaki said a Yemeni-Iranian committee is set to meet during the coming months, affirming Iran will take part in many projects in Yemen.
