Turkish President Abdullah Gol received at this Turkish city of Istanbul visiting Secretary General of the Riyadh-based Gulf Cooperation Council Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Atiyyah. During the meeting, they discussed cooperation relations between the GCC member states and Turkey, particularly the economic and commercial fields in addition to the progress of negotiations to conclude an agreement for the establishment of a duty free zone between the GCC states and Turkey. Also discussed were the situations in Palestine, Iraq and Lebanon in addition to various political issues of mutual concern.
