Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Interior received here today President of National Society for Human Rights Dr. Bandar bin Mohammed Hajjar and members of the Society. Some issues of concern to the Society and of competence to the Ministry of Interior were discussed. During the meeting, Prince Naif affirmed that human rights in the Kingdom are preserved and protected through the application of the Holy Quran and Sunnah (Prophet's Tradition), also stressing that various governmental executive and regulatory bodies are keen to implement the regulations and instructions taking into account the rights of the accused at the time of arrest, interrogation and trial and at the time of implementation of the sentence. The meeting was attended by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Salem.
