Shoura Council Chairman Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Homaid received here today Albanian Parliament Speaker Jozefina Topalli and the accompanying delegation. During the meeting, they discussed issues of common interest between the two countries in all fields, particularly at the level of parliamentary work between Saudi Shoura Council and Albanian Parliament. Following that, Dr. bin Homaid held a luncheon in honor of the Albanian Parliament Speaker and the accompanying delegation. The meeting was attended by a number of officials. Earlier today, the Saudi-Albanian Parliamentary Friendship Committee held a meeting with Albanian Parliament Speaker Iana Topalli. The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Committee Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Awad. During the meeting, they discussed issues of common interest in political, economic, social and cultural fields, particularly the situation in Kosovo, investment in Balkans, Albanian educational missions to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and ways of correcting misconceptions about Islam in European societies.
