The Steering committee of the Arab Festival of Sport for All to be hosted by the Kingdom during the period from 23-4 to 3-5, 2008 in Riyadh held a meeting here today chaired by the President of Saudi Federation of Sport for All who is Chairman of the Steering Committee, Dr. Mohammed bin Saad Al-Osaimi and attended the Committee's members. The General Secretary of the Federation who is the rapporteur of the Committee, Essam bin Abdullah Al-Khamees said that the Committee expressed its sincere thanks to and appreciation of Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz for donating SR 100,000 to the festival, confirming that this generous donation comes in the framework of his support to the Arab sport and its activities and his keenness on the success of this Arab festival. The rapporteur of the Committee noted that the number of countries participating in the festival is 15 Arab countries so far comprising Palestine, Iraq, Libya, Sudan, Egypt, Algeria, Yemen, Jordan, Lebanon, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, in addition to the hosting country, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
