Officials say the death toll from a building collapse in downtown Luanda has risen to 24. Crews are still searching the rubble of a six-storey police building that collapsed Saturday. Around 180 people are believed to have been in the building when it crumbled during the night. Emergency services using bulldozers and sniffer dogs have rescued 145 people. Officials say the dead include 13 men, 10 women and a baby. The government says it has opened an official inquiry to find out why the building collapsed, the Associated Press reported.
