The dollar fell against the yen Monday in Asia as traders remained cautious ahead of U.S. economic Data due this week. The dollar was trading at 99.72 yen midafternoon in Tokyo, down from 100.00 yen late Friday in New York. The euro rose to US$1.5781 from US$1.5760. Against other Asian currencies, the dollar was mixed. It rose 0.16 percent against the Indonesian rupiah to 9.220, and dropped 0.37 percent against the South Korean won to 989.1.
