British men break world record in team pursuit at world track championships

Britain broke world records in
the men's and women's team pursuit at the world track
cycling championships on Thursday, according to The Associated Press.
Bradley Wiggins, Paul Manning, Geraint Thomas and Edward
Clancy powered ahead of Denmark to clock 3 minutes, 56.322
seconds in the final. The Danes raced in 3:59.381.
The victory gave Wiggins another gold to add to Tuesday's
individual victory.
Australia, which set the mark of 3:56.610 at the 2004
Olympics, took bronze in 4:00.089 ahead of New Zealand.
