President Pervez Musharraf Tuesday told US Deputy Secretary of State John Negroponte that Pakistan would continue to pursue a comprehensive strategy to counter terrorism. Talking to Negroponte who called on him, the President emphasized the importance of a stable, broad-based and multifaceted relationship between the two countries, according to an official statement. They discussed Pakistan-US bilateral relations and the political situation in Pakistan.
