The General Commission of Civil Aviation said in a press statement: "In accordance with the primary information, the engine of a plane of Air Atlanta, leased by Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAA), caught fire on Tuesday while it was operating the international flight number-810. The 747 Boeing plane (Registeration:TFARS) was bound from Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah to Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Supervisor of the tower there, noticed the fire at one of the engines of the plane after its landing at Dhaka airport at 8:24 (international time). The plane stopped at the runway and the passengers were evacuated through the emergency doors. Later, it became clear that the fire was on the engine-3 and the engine was burnt. The number of passengers aboard the plane totaled 307 in addition to 19 members of the crew. No injuries have taken place due to the evacuation of the passengers, and the plane was towed away from the runway."
