Some 21 Indonesian nationals have so far been jailed for three to 12 years after they were arrested with drugs in the past months, ANTARA reported. "At least 21 Indonesian nationals are in jail at present after they were arrested in possession of drugs," Indonesian consul general in Hong Kong, Ferry Adamhar, said on Sunday. He said most of the Indonesians inmates were not drug users but acted as couriers because when they were arrested, they were on their way from Indonesia to China main land and Hong Kong. Ferry added that although the Indonesian nationals pleaded guilty and were in prison at present, the Indonesia's consulate office in Hong Kong would remain giving legal protection by providing them with lawyers for their case.
