Cypriot president speaks on peace talks

Cypriot President Dimitris
Christofias says the failure of renewed peace talks due to
start this week would be «devastating» for Cyprus.
His comments come two days before his first meeting with
the Turkish Cypriot leader, Rauf Denktash, since
Christofias won a general election last month.
Christofias says that «this time we must succeed.»
