The Under Secretary at Yemen's Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation, Abdul milk Al-Arashi will head his country's delegation on an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In a statement to Yemeni Arabic newspaper "Alwohdah," Farouq Mohammed Qassim, the Director General of Agricultural Marketing at the Yemeni Ministry, said that the upcoming visit will focus on aspects of cooperation between the two countries, means of enhancing fruit and vegetable production and encouraging products exportation. He pointed out that the Yemeni delegation's visit comes within the framework of the implementation of a project to encourage exports of fruits, vegetables and improve the quality specifications that are contained in the United Nations Development Programme, which are also included under a strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Yemen. The visit will also facilitate exchange of experts and technicians as well as arrange a number of meetings and workshops between Saudi importers and Yemeni exporters and organize joint agricultural fairs, he added.
