A Ukrainian police officer serving with the United Nations in Kosovo died of injuries sustained in violent clashes with Serbs on Monday, two security sources were quoted as saying by Reuters. The sources could not confirm the cause of death, but NATO and the United Nations say Serbs used automatic weapons and hand grenades in the clashes, the worst since Kosovo's ethnic Albanian majority declared independence on Feb 17.
