GCC Secretary General Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Attiyah described today the outcomes of the talks held by Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General with Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar and his meetings with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Crown Prince of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabr Al Thani, Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs as positive and vital for the relations between the two brotherly countries and as a strength for the GCC Council. "The outcomes of the visit of Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz to Doha have had positive reflections on the relations between Saudi Arabia and the State of Qatar, and in the framework of the GCC countries" Al-Attiyah said today in a statement. He added, "The talks of Crown Prince Sultan in Qatar enhanced the positive results of the recent Gulf summit in Doha, especially as the summit opened prospects of cooperation through the beginning of the Gulf common market". He expected that the coming period would witness a unique leap for Saudi-Qatari relations, especially in the economic and investment fields.
