Minister of Commerce and Industry Abdullah bin Ahmed Zenel Ali Reza met at the conference palace in Riyadh today with visiting Swedish Minister of Foreign Trade Ewa Bjorling. In a press conference, the Saudi minister described the visit of the Swedish minister to the Kingdom as introductory to pave the way for further promotion of commercial cooperation between the two countries in the near future. He said Sweden is considered among Saudi Arabia's trade partners. We talked about important issues including social liability for companies and establishments and issues related to environment, he said. He said the Swedish minister will pay another visit to the Kingdom soon to discuss fields of cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the commercial area. On her part, the Swedish Minister confirmed her endeavor to open doors for Swedish medium and small companies to establish joint ventures. The meeting was attended by a number of officials.
